At EC Catering Equipment, we are committed to offering secure and flexible payment options for all of our customers. This page outlines the payment methods we accept, how we process transactions, and our terms related to billing and invoicing.


โœ… Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment options:

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT / Bank Transfer)
    Payments can be made directly to our business bank account. Banking details will be provided at checkout or via invoice. Orders are processed once payment is confirmed.

  • Credit & Debit Cards
    We accept major South African credit and debit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. Transactions are processed securely through a trusted third-party payment gateway.

  • PayFast / Instant EFT (if applicable)
    We may offer secure online payments via PayFast or similar platforms for instant processing. Payment is verified in real time.

  • Cash on Collection (Only available for local pickup orders)
    Customers who choose to collect their order from our warehouse may be allowed to pay in cash. Prior arrangement and confirmation is required.


๐Ÿ•’ Payment Timing & Processing

  • All payments must be made in full before an order is confirmed or dispatched.

  • Orders placed via bank transfer will only be processed once the funds reflect in our account.

  • For larger orders, split payment terms (e.g. deposit + balance) may be considered upon request. Custom agreements will be confirmed in writing.

We prioritize your payment security:

  • All online transactions are encrypted and processed via SSL-secured payment gateways.

  • We do not store your credit card or banking information on our servers.

  • Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

An official invoice will be issued via email once your order has been processed. If you require a formal quote before payment, please contact us directly.


โŒ Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment fails or is declined:

  • The order will remain on hold until payment is resolved.

  • You will be notified by email with steps to retry or update your payment method.

  • Orders not paid within 3 business days may be automatically cancelled.
