You could say that Rancilio’s Classe 5 commercial espresso range adheres to the same principles as the beloved Silvia. These machines are designed to be simple, reliable and affordable – perfect for a small cafe, restaurant coffee offering or even a mobile coffee station.

Easy to install, operate and maintain, the Classe 5 range of espresso machines are an ideal investment for a new coffee venture. They are built with high quality commercial components including sizeable independent heat exchange boilers, pump and boiler pressure control gauges and a built in volumetric pump.

About the USB automatic versions

The USB versions of the Classe 5 feature on board computers and automatic dosing. This means that you can programme the dose for up to 4 different coffee beverages, press the button and walk away while the machine delivers exactly the right amount of hot water. In a busy environment, this feature can be invaluable as the barista doesn’t have to worry about stopping the shot at the right time.

Currently available in tall version

Most espresso machines have enough cup clearance to brew into an espresso shot glass. If you want to brew your espresso shot straight into a tall takeaway cup or latte glass, this can be limiting as you may not be able to fit the cup under the group head. Fortunately, the Rancilio Classe 5 USB also comes in a Tall option with recessed group heads, which provides extra cup clearance of ~14cm which is ample for any cup! That is currently the version that we sell.
